Lab members help setting up large-scale SARS-CoV-2 testing
Biogazelle was an important player in the initiation of large-scale testing of patient samples for SARS-CoV-2 with the help of Prof. Vandesompele and Prof. Mestdagh. The company started the test rollout with the support of Ghent University, Ghent University Hospital, and VIB. As a part of this consortium, multiple lab members (postdoctoral fellows, doctoral fellows, and lab technicians) of the OncoRNALab were able to contribute to the SARS-CoV-2 testing on a voluntary basis.
