Lab member Kathleen obtained her PhD degree
Kathleen successfully defended her PhD entitled ‘Nucleic acid biomarkers in blood from patients with esophageal adenocarcinoma - finding the needle in the haystack’ on July 04th, supervised by Katleen De Preter, Prof. Jo Vandesompele and Prof. Piet Pattyn. Congratulations Dr. Schoofs!. The PhD thesis can be read here Kathleen will continue her career as a postdoctoral researcher.
